"Rick, can I get my ears pierced?"

These phone pictures are not the best quality but I had to document an occasion as momentous as getting her ears pierced! She had been asking to get this done for a few weeks and was very brave the whole time. She did shed a tear or two but quickly recovered and said she was glad she did it. It's been a couple weeks now and she's still doing great! She certainly does look fancy!

Afternoon Tea

Grandfather & Granny brought back a tea set for Sophia from Bahrain and she lost no time in putting it to use. Sadly my poor little camera has a hard time keeping up with her when she's too excited to stop moving. She really is an amazing little girl and fills my heart with joy!

The Blizzard

 We had a huge blizzard hit us at the beginning of February and we were snowed in for almost three weeks. When Sophie woke up the first day to see snow on the ground she said, "Oh, I'm so proud of those clouds for snowing!" We built an igloo, skated on the frozen pond, missed a lot of school and ate an amazing amount of food.

Winter Hoidays

We had a lovely holiday break and I can't believe it but Sophie kicked the pacifier once and for all! She did however find herself creeping into her mother's bed for comfort once and awhile. Oh well, one thing at a time.
